Mortifying moment Kate Garraway is caught whispering to co-star live on Good Morning Britain – and her microphone picks up EVERYTHING

Kate Garraway was caught whispering to her co-star live on Friday’s Good Morning Britain.
The 58-year-old presenter confused viewers during the televised crash.
Kate and colleague Adil Ray discussed the latest news and weather in the studio, joined by Charlotte Hawkins and weather expert Laura Tobin.
The pair also spoke to Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn about their upcoming rematch, as well as Second World War veteran Alec Penstone, who is still selling poppies at the age of 100.
Later in the programme, Kate and Adil chatted to commentators Salma Shah and Caroline Flint about the biggest news.
But as Salma and Caroline began discussing their recent prison release mistakes, Kate began speaking into her TV microphone.

But while Salma and Caroline were discussing their recent prison release blunder, Kate began speaking into her TV microphone.
He whispered: ‘Okay, let’s take a look.’
Kate continued: ‘Okay, will someone look at these?’
As for X, fans were clearly confused as they shared their thoughts on the awkward moment.

A second shared: ‘Kate looks like she’s whispering something but she can’t understand.’
A third added: ‘Someone needs to tell Kate Garraway that her mic is picking up all the comments she’s whispering,’ while another agreed: ‘Can someone tell Kate to turn her mic on?’
One angry viewer wrote: ‘@gmb why can I hear Kate whispering during the conversation’, while a sixth echoed: ‘I thought I heard things.’
The comments continued with a seventh post: ‘Kate! We can hear you. Oh my god, he’s still doing this, Kate, we can hear you talking while everyone else is talking! ‘You don’t even speak in a whisper.’
Elsewhere on today’s GMB, Kate and Adil spoke about the Celebrity Traitors finale, which saw traitor Alan Carr take home the £87,500 jackpot

Despite this, technical problems were not mentioned in the program.
Elsewhere on today’s GMB, Kate and Adil talked about the Celebrity Traitors finale, which saw traitor Alan Carr take home the £87,500 jackpot.
Singer Cat Burns became the first finalist to be eliminated shortly before traitor hunter Joe Marler.
Nick Mohammed and David Olusoga later learned Alan’s true identity.
Yesterday Kate reignited her feud with Clare Balding on Good Morning Britain.
Clare joined the show to talk about her debut book, Pastures New, which hit shelves in September and tells the story of a woman who moves to a sheep farm for a fresh start.
The pair were immediately rubbed off the wrong foot when Kate, 58, reportedly described the novel written by co-star Ed Balls as ‘maddening’.
Trying to cover her tracks, Kate quickly clarified: ‘I didn’t say anything like that! That’s what I was told. Look, don’t create problems between Clare and me again.
‘It wasn’t me who said that, Clare. I can assure you that that was the impression we got from the producers.’
Clare responded: ‘No, because Jilly Cooper told me to write it but it’s not crazy. It’s about love, faith and trust.’
‘Did you like the writing? ‘Cause I think you always do things based on reality,’ Kate then mocked Clare for describing her new venture as just ‘making things’.
As tensions rose, Clare and Kate paused the interview to discuss the Celebrity Traitors finale, which will reveal whether the Traitors or the Loyalists will take home the prize money.
The two stars of Sadık in the series were both unfairly accused by their co-stars and were eliminated by voting in two different group discussions.
During the show, both women were suspicious of each other at the round table.
Kate snapped: ‘Clare was the first person on Famous Villains to say I was a suspect and you can see how she was. I’m at the round table again…’
Kate Garraway reignited Famous Traitors feud with ‘suspicious’ Clare Balding live on Good Morning Britain on Thursday
The presenter, who is among the star-studded cast of the BBC One programme, was joined by 54-year-old sports presenter Clare on the ITV breakfast programme.
Clare retorted: ‘He kept arguing with me Ed, he used to argue if someone wrote your name – I never wrote your name.’
Kate shot back: ‘But you told everyone you thought it was me?’ Before trying to continue, she added: ‘Jonathan and David both said it was you. Let’s continue…’
But Clare didn’t hold back, continuing: ‘If we’re going to continue on about who you should trust, if it comes down to choosing between me and Jonathan, stay with me Kate!’
Ed tried to separate the two by drawing attention back to the book and said: ‘What’s going on? This is better than watching on TV…’
Clare wasn’t ready to stop talking about Famous Traitors just yet, and continued: ‘I’m going to make a point, I’m going to make a point – okay?
‘This is about the round table and how to make your voices heard. Because I always believe that sports are more important than the game played. I think Celebrity Traitors is bigger than the game itself.
The two stars of the series, Sadık, were unfairly accused by their co-stars and were not voted on in two different group discussions.
‘Whether you’re in cabinet meetings, shadow cabinet meetings, school staff meetings, team sports and whether you’re in the boardroom, it’s a huge point of contention.
‘No matter where you are in a team, how will you make your voice heard without shutting down, and at the same time, how will you ensure that all voices are listened to equally?
‘We delay, and we delay on the basis that respect depends on education, gender, age, tone of voice. Comedy means you can get away with a lot of things, but Joe Wilkinson said something interesting, every time he said something it was like he was speaking in lower case.
‘I think there are a lot of situations, especially with women, where they realize they’re speaking in lower case and no one is listening.’
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV1 and ITVX.
