Mother, 24, shrugged off her dry cough… unaware it was deadly cancer crushing her internal organs

There are several species working in different ways to help the immune system recognize and attack cancer cells.
With CAR T cell treatment, immune cells called T cells are designed to search and destroy cancer cells.
The process of making these armed T cells is long, complex and expensive.
It starts with a connection to a machine that takes the patient with an example of his blood and separates the T cells (similar to a dialysis machine used for kidney patients) that separates the T cells before returning the rest of the blood.
