The human cost of Biden’s shameful 'Children’s Crusade' at the border

Around 1212, a child preached that children in France should be on the cross and follow him to the holy land. He did thousands of. None of them reached Jerusalem. Most gave up before leaving Europe. Others were sold for shipwreck or slavery in the Islamic caliphate of Tunisia.
Centuries later, the fact that the Biden administration facilitated the mass illegal entry of foreign children (UACs) and left them to the hands of unhappy adults caused even more misery.
The seed was planted years ago. “In 2008, Lora Ries, a former official with US citizenship and immigration services, has created incentives to persuade parents to convince the parents to convince them to convince them to gain a basis for their families to follow their families, I hope their families can follow their families later.”

In the early 2000s, 4,800 to 8,200 UACs were met at the border annually. After TVPra, the figures rose and reached 68,000 in 2014.
Under Biden, Federal agencies were the last leg that brought millions of unacceptable foreigners from around the world, including 550,000 small children in an international smuggling business. “Crime sponsors are defrauding the US government by using this government program as a logistics chain in human trafficking operations,” as expert witness Tara Rodas testified to the Parliament Internal Security Committee in November 2024.
While illegal foreign parents and labor force employers were paying to reach the US border of the UACs, they were the tax dollars that brought them into the country and barely examined them.
Unacceptable UACS Health and Human Services Department (HHS) is the responsibility of the Refugee Office (Orr) of the Refugee Office (Orr), which is unacceptable than Mexico, trying to enter the US illegally.
Under the biden, children were released to the default sponsors within a few days. The verification of the identities of the sponsors was unaffected. HHS released children to sponsors without blood relations and allowed adult sponsors to send photos of their identity documents instead of personally coming. After being placed in the sponsors, there was little follow -up to check the welfare of children.
February 2024 HHS General Inspector Report looked at 342 of the 16,790 UAC, when they were released to parents or sponsors in March and April 2021. In 16% of the cases, there was no evidence that sponsor security checks were performed. Almost one of the five UACs published on sponsors with “waiting FBI fingerprint or state child abuse and neglect record controls” – and the files were never updated when these results arrived. In one -third of the cases, the identity documents stating that sponsors “contain readability” is a good way to say that Orr cannot read them properly to verify that they are valid.
What if sponsors don’t care about children or exploit them? Nobody knew. Orr’s follow -up was only one phone call.
In 22% of HHS, they did not document these calls in case files in the case files, which was examined in 22% of the “Orr time in Orr” and 18% of the cases. This was at the beginning of 2021 – and the UAC numbers later worsened during Biden years. As this graph showed, he saw that more than 100,000 UACs entered illegally from 2021-2024 each year – almost all of them were released to the USA
UCS should be abolished unless shelters or other protection is given in accordance with our laws of migration. However, according to the DHS General Inspector, ICE could not give notifications to more than 291,000 UACs in the immigration court between 2019-2024. And when they did, more than 43,000 never came to the hearing.
New York Times reported this “[m]Children with Igrated have done dangerous industrial affairs that violate children’s business laws throughout the country – in slaughterhouses, factories, construction sites and other places… Some of them were seriously injured or killed. “
Trump administration, which ends Biden’s capture and release on the border, is now repairing the damage to four -year recklessness and neglect. This means not only to arrest, detain and deport illegal foreigners, but also to find thousands of UACs followed by HHS. The aim is ideally to return to their parents who return to their country as many children as possible. So far, the Trump administration has reached 13,000 UAC, who left the radar.

Today, Orr requires a suitable definition with background controls and financial recordings before releasing children with fingerprints, photos, DNA samples. Foreign adults who have asylum claims in the United States – even fake or fraudulent ones that will eventually fail – can take their children from Orr and protect custody while waiting for the family’s immigration process. Not many, because they’re not really relatives. Or they are afraid of the necessary process because they have not even taken basic steps to legalize their status here.
Orr, parent and sponsors are absolutely confirmed, and the average time for children to stay in custody grew from a few weeks to month. This is proof of how weak the veterinary standards for sponsors have been weak for the last four years. Many young people who come to work prefer to leave their parents abroad and go home instead of staying for longer orr.
The Federal Law requires the government to “ensure that unjustly foreign children in the United States to be sent back to the national countries”. Now this must be the priority. Later, the Congress needs to close the UAC gaps in immigration laws and return from HHS to DHS, so that too much child will never be at the risk of serious harm and will not fall from the cracks of an immigration system spread between many federal agencies.
