Multiple drone sightings reported near LoC, second time in 48 hours

The Indian Army responded by firing on drones and launching a massive search operation to look for possible shipment drops. This marks the second such incident in just 48 hours, leading to increased vigilance along the LoC and International Border.

A few drones were spotted along the LoC and IB on Sunday too.

According to NDTV, a number of drone sightings were reported along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, December 13. Reports of the sighting came from the Doonga Gali area, prompting immediate action by security forces. The Indian Army responded by firing on drones and launching a massive search operation to look for possible shipment drops. This marks the second such incident in just 48 hours, leading to increased vigilance along the LoC and International Border.

On Sunday, several drones were spotted along the LoC and IB in many districts of Jammu and Kashmir, including Nowshera, Poonch, Samba and Rajouri. This was followed by the seizure of a large quantity of pistols, magazines and explosives in the Samba sector, which are suspected to be materials for terrorist groups supported by Pakistan. This is the first time that multiple drones have been spotted along the LoC and IB in a few days since Operation Sindoor, which India launched in May last year.
