Bell remained unaware that the perpetrator sold the vehicle to Mr. West, which was shot to him after leaving a public house and approaching the car.
Mr. West died at the scene, Mrs. Smith was defeated by her injury on her way to the hospital. The third woman managed to avoid damage.
Eyewitnesses reported that Bell had discharged his gun towards the collection of spectators before escaping. The arrest watched the next year.
Bell was later found more guilty than three murders – in 1989, a woman and her younger son and mother’s partner Mr. West and Mrs. Smith about four months before the attack.
