A former Muslim priest was imprisoned for sexual harassing four young girls in a mosque. 61 -year -old Qari Sher Mohammad will spend behind bars for 10 years to abuse children for ten years.
Mohammad from the forest gate Woodford Road, London, was an imam in the Muslim Community Center in Chatham. One of his victims reported him to the city police in 2018 and revealed that he had sexually touched him while performing his spiritual duties. The attack took place in a mosque on the Thorold Road between March 2014 and October 2016.
Mohammad was arrested in April 2018, but was not accused of concerns about the impact of a hearing on the young victim. However, Mohammad attacked three more sexually sexual children between May 2022 and December 2023 before he was arrested on December 11th.
