Mystery National Lottery winner finally claims £15m prize two months later
A mystery Lotto ticket holder has finally claimed a huge prize worth £15 million, two months after winning the draw.
National Lottery operator Allwyn confirmed on Monday that a single ticket holder had claimed the jackpot prize won from the Lotto ‘Must Be Won’ draw held on November 15 last year.
In what the operator described as a “life-changing win”, the lucky ticket holder won an incredible £15 million with the winning numbers 09, 11, 27, 44, 48, 52.
Allwyn said the claim is currently going through the verification process and if it is confirmed, the reward will be paid.
Only then will the identity of the mystery winner be revealed if the ticket holder decides to share their news. Otherwise, no information about them will be released, including whether they are individual or union winners or where the ticket was purchased.
Andy Carter, senior winners advisor at Allwyn, said: “What a way to start 2026 with a £15 million windfall for a lucky Lotto player. We will now look to support the ticket holder throughout the process and help them start enjoying their life-changing win.”
The mystery bet comes as Wednesday’s ‘Must-Win’ Lotto jackpot will be an estimated £13.1 million after no players failed to claim the top prize on Saturday.
No ticket holder matched all six main numbers, but three players won £1 million by matching five numbers and the bonus ball.
The winning numbers in the lotto were 05, 06, 13, 18, 22, 53, and the bonus ball was 09.
Using the same numbers as the Lotto draw, Lotto HotPicks won the £350,000 grand prize by matching all five numbers.
Seven lucky players matched four out of five numbers to win £13,000 each.
The winning Thunderball numbers were 23, 29, 31, 38, 39 and Thunderball was 5.
No player won the £500,000 grand prize by matching five numbers and the Thunderball, but three players won £5,000 each by matching five numbers.
