Mystery of England’s ‘vanished’ first North American colony solved | History | News

Researchers believe that after a new groundbreaking discovery, the disappearance of the famous lost colony of the 16th century may have solved the mystery behind.
The so -called missing colony refers to 118 British settlers who disappeared from Roanoke Island in North Carolina after being founded in 1587. Daily Mail.
The only trace of the settlers was the carving of the word “Croatian” in a Palisade, which many believed that many of them referred to Croatia Island or Modern Hatteras Island. News, Turin Cover Mystery, even the blood group of the expert who knows the blood group ‘dissolved’ comes.
For centuries, historians thought whether the group had done it to Croatia, as suggested.
Now, researchers believe that they have actually emigrated there and that they are assimilated with indigenous Americans after finding iron files known as Hammerscale on a pile of garbage on Hatteras Island.
Evidence of assimilation
Hammerscale is a porridge pieces containing iron tattoo -by -products that indigenous Americans will not yet have, but the British colonists would be very good.
“This is the metal that needs to be raised to a relatively high temperature… Of course, of course, [requires] Mark Horton, a professor of archeology at Royal Agriculture University in England, told FOX News Digital.
“We look at the masses of garbage – we look at the masses of garbage of local Americans living on Croatoan Island – because we have removed the domestic American population very quickly.”
Hammerscale Discovery directed researchers to conclude that the British “should work” with the Indian community.
The disappearance of the colony was revealed by Governor John White in 1590 when he returned from England to the island.
White returned to his homeland in August 1587 to collect more materials and settlers, but was delayed by Spanish Armada.
When he returned to Roanoke, he found that the original settlers, including their daughters, disappeared from the island.

If a plan was to leave the island, it was previously created that they would throw their positions into a tree because they would know where they were.
However, only the remnants of the human life on the island was the carving of the word “Croatian” in a Palisade, which many believed that many of them referred to Croatian Island or Modern Hatteras Island.
White tried to sail the other island, but a storm broke it and forced him to return to England without any news about the settlers.
The people of their disappearance were wondering if the colonists had been killed or migrated to a new home.
This has changed with the discovery of Hammerscale, which was correctly dated because of its position in the land, and that researchers would come from that century.
The team also found weapons, sea luminaires, small ball balls and more, and told Fox News Digital.
Wine cups and beads were also discovered, which helped create a picture of what settlers’ lives are on the island.
Researchers believe that the family of settlers lived on the island until the 18th century.
Blue -eyed people
Horton is another reason why British settlers assimilated with indigenous Americans believe that the 1700s believe that there are historical evidence that defines “blue or gray -eyed people”.
“He can remember people who used to read from books,” he said to these individuals.
“They also said that this ghost ship was sent by a man named Raleigh,” Horton said.
The name is probably a reference to Sir Walter Raleigh, a British statesman who plays a key role in colonization.
He organized a settlement attempt on Roanoke Island and financed it.
First, there was a military police station that was released in 1586 before the loss of the lost colony after two years later.
Following the failure of the colony, he disappeared from white but historical record.
Britain is believed to have died in 1606 a year before the first successful colony in Virginia, Jamestown.
