Armed man shot by police at property south of Brisbane
A man was shot by police during a fight at a property south of Brisbane on Friday night.
Police raided the Caswell Road property in Woodhill, 12 kilometers north of Beaudesert, for an unknown reason at around 9pm.
The man in his 40s allegedly then attacked the police officers with a firearm.
“The man allegedly advanced towards police and was then shot by officers,” police said.
He was given first aid by officers before he was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene has been declared and Ethical Standards Command will investigate the incident.
