NASCAR driver dedicates victory in Bristol to Charlie Kirk: 'This one's for Charlie'

Nascar driver Christopher Bell dedicated his victory to the Nascar Cup series on Saturday at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee.
A few minutes after leaving his car, Bell announced that his victory was dedicated to Kirk.
#20 Dewalt Toyota’s driver Bell, after the win, “finally was not beautiful there, but we finished it,” he said.
“Most importantly, it was a very difficult week this week. You know, we have a lot in mind,” he continued.

“For this Charlie,” Bell added.
Kirk, a 31 -year -old founding partner of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed on the campus of Utah Valley University in the afternoon of Wednesday. He was later transferred to a hospital in critical state before he was pronounced dead.
The alleged armed man was defined as 22 -year -old Tyler Robinson, who convinced him to surrender him after a two -day hunting.
Other big figures in the sport have been praising Kirk since the assassination of Wednesday.

The Los Angeles Dodgers relaxing Blake Treent played against San Francisco Giants on Friday night, and on the mound, a hat containing Kirk’s name with a cross.
The inscription on his hat read “Charlie Kirk”, and a cross was prominent.

Chicago Cubs also paid tribute to Kirk before the team’s match on Friday. The team, who described him as a cubs fan for a lifetime, organized a “moment of reflection” and “all political violence” was terminated.
New York Yankees was the first professional sports team to honor Kirk, and it was a moment of silence to commemorate the impressive match before the match against Detroit Tigers on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, NFL made a statement to Kirk before the last match on Friday and said that they would make their own decisions about whether the teams were suitable on this Sunday.
On Thursday night, the match between Green Bay Packers and Washington commanders included a moment of silence in honor of Kirk before it started.
“Last night was the decision of the moment. This Sunday’s matches for the match was up to the clubs.”
