Kevin Spacey says he’s homeless, living in hotels after being blacklisted

Kevin Spacey’s life has changed drastically since he was blacklisted by Hollywood years ago after allegations of sexual assault by various men emerged.
In a recent interview Telegram, The 66-year-old “House of Cards” alum opened up about how his legal troubles have affected his life personally and professionally, and claimed he doesn’t currently have a home as he tries to relieve the financial burden.
Spacey, who recently took the stage to perform his show “Kevin Spacey: Songs and Stories” at a nightclub in Cyprus, said, “The costs in the last seven years have been astronomical.” “I barely went in and everything came out.”
“You get over it. In a weird way, I feel like I’m back where I first started, which is where the work is. It’s all in the tank and hopefully at some point, if things continue to improve, I can decide where I want to settle down again,” he continued.

“I live in hotels, I live in Airbnbs, I go where my work is. I literally don’t have a home, I’m trying to explain that,” he added.
Spacey admitted that his financial situation was “not good” and revealed that he almost filed for bankruptcy at one point.
A representative for Spacey did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Spacey was acquitted of sexual harassment charges in July 2023 after four weeks of testimony. Spacey has denied charges of sexual assault, indecent assault and causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent.
The jury found him not guilty.
“I think a lot of you can understand that after what happened today, there’s a lot for me to figure out,” Spacey said after the verdict was announced. he said. “But I want to say that I am extremely grateful to the jury for taking the time to carefully consider all the evidence and all the facts before reaching their verdict.”

“I am ashamed of today’s result,” he added. “I also want to thank the staff at the courthouse, security, Evan Lowenstein and everyone else who takes care of us every day, my legal team… for being here every day.”
Spacey told The Telegraph he was hopeful for the future.

“We’ve been in contact with some extremely powerful people who want to get me back to work,” Spacey said. “And that will happen at the right time. But I will also say that what the industry expects is permission from someone with tremendous respect and authority.”
“So to me, if Martin Scorsese or Quentin Tarantino calls Evan, [his manager, Evan Lowenstein] It will end tomorrow. “I will be incredibly honored and ecstatic when this caliber of talent picks up the phone.”
“And I believe it will happen,” he added.

Last year, Hollywood stars came to the defense, demanding that the actor be allowed to return to his career.
Following the two-part documentary “Spacey Unmasked”, which aired in the UK in May 2024, fellow actors, including Sharon Stone and Liam Neeson, praised Spacey and claimed that the industry “needs him and misses him so much”.

Spacey said he finds it embarrassing to start from scratch these days.
“My relationship with fame has changed a lot, and I’ve returned to what I call ‘Lemmon’s heresy’. Because I’m so happy that I can now make time to meet people and chat with them. I get stopped all the time in many different places, in many different situations, and people are so kind and so generous,” he said.
“And it’s been a very enjoyable readjustment into fame over the last seven years. I’m much happier and more relaxed. I don’t put my hat on and run away from buildings. I walk with my head held high, no glasses on my face, no hat, nothing to hide.”
