Lauryn Goodman, publicly vilified for her affair with England’s married football hero Kyle Walker, which resulted in her becoming pregnant with his second child, was quite smug about one thing: the fact that she had given birth to Walker’s only daughter.

Born in August 2023, baby Kinara was born with four older brothers and half-siblings: Lauryn’s son Kairo, and three: Roman, Riaan, and Reign, whom Walker fathered with his wife Annie Kilner.

Annie’s fourth son, Rezon, appeared a few months later.

I was spending a lot of time with Lauryn at the time, and she often talked about Kinara being the only girl. I get the impression that Lauryn has feelings for Annie because she is raising the Walker’s only daughter.

So the news that Walker’s wife of six years, Annie, is pregnant with their fifth child is sure to surprise Lauryn: There’s now a 50:50 chance that Annie’s newborn will be the younger sister of Kyle’s six older children.

On Saturday, it was confirmed that Annie, 32, is pregnant and due to give birth this summer. Friends of Annie and Kyle say they are ‘closer than ever’ after miraculously managing to save their marriage after he cheated on Lauryn.

“You can imagine those scenes,” says one of Lauryn’s former co-workers. ‘He loves WhatsApp ‘voice memo’, I bet they would be on non-stop on Saturday afternoon.’

Indeed, Lauryn, 34, wasted no time in making sure she was back in the headlines. On Sunday, she was photographed walking with a friend near the £2.4 million house Walker bought for himself in East Sussex.

The photos showed Lauryn smiling, looking both dazzling and happy, with the photos bearing the hallmarks of an ‘edit’.

‘Just like night follows day, it only took a few hours after Annie’s news was revealed for Lauryn to make sure she got her own column inches,’ the source said.

‘The whole situation was over. After months of difficult conversations, Annie and Kyle had quietly moved on.

Who knows what Lauryn makes of this? The impression I got from him was that there was no way Kyle thought he could actually go back to Annie.’

Those who knew Lauryn were quick to point out that despite her smile, she may have been angry when she learned Annie was pregnant once again.

She didn’t always seem to be best friends with Annie, who was Walker’s rival for his affections.

And it seemed Lauryn was happy to stir things up in the months after giving birth to her second child with the footballer, daughter Kinara, who is currently involved with Burnley.

To recap, Kyle and his wife, Annie Kilner, were taking a break from each other when she got pregnant with Kairo.

Later, following her birth, Lauryn angered Annie by asking a neighbor to spy on her. Lauryn threatened to move to Cheshire and posed for photos; apparently he was looking for a house near where Walker and Anne lived.

Then on December 27, 2023, Lauryn sent Annie a text message saying that her husband was now a father of a child. second The child next to him is also Kairo’s little sister, now six years old.

Annie, who was pregnant with Walker’s fourth child at the time, was devastated and he kicked her out of the £4million family home in Cheshire. He lived in a nearby apartment for several months.

This feud led to a bitter briefing war. Lauryn refused to let her children disappear from the public eye and appeared in a series of interviews in which she called on the former Manchester City and England defender to have a relationship with their two children, Kinara and Kairo.

‘Lauryn spent eight months enjoying being in the public eye,’ says a source who knows her well. ‘This consumed him.

‘If you talk to him you’ll realize he’s happy Annie and Kyle broke up.

‘Perhaps admirably, he wanted Kyle to accept his children and treat them the same as his four (soon to be five) children with Annie.’

Lauryn’s determination enabled her to withstand a humiliating day in court in July 2024, when she demanded the judge grant her financial assistance for her two children.

During the extraordinary hearing, which the Walkers fought to make public, it was revealed that Lauryn had demanded £31,200 to install an artificial turf football pitch in her garden, claiming her then-two-year-old daughter Kinara showed potential to become a professional footballer.

He was also seeking tens of thousands of pounds for the car, furniture, air conditioning and property maintenance, as well as nursery fees.

In his ruling, Judge Edward Hess rejected most of Lauryn’s requests and concluded that Kyle was “not trustworthy” while claiming that Kyle “acted with dignity and generosity” and described him as “sensible, honest and trustworthy”.

Last summer, I revealed that Annie and Kyle had patched up their marriage while enjoying a family vacation to Disneyland in Florida — something even their nearest and dearest didn’t think would happen.

This was even more surprising considering that Annie had already consulted lawyers about the possibility of a divorce in October 2024.

I’m told the secret to rekindling their relationship was to end the briefing war with Lauryn that had been causing them trouble for over a year. Determined to make herself heard publicly, Lauryn is said to upset Annie on a daily basis.

Friends say Lauryn staying quiet for a while gave Walker and Annie the ‘space’ they needed to deal with their problems privately.

But thanks to the announcement of another child, the couple is under the spotlight once again. Who knows what Lauryn will do next?
