Sydney to Canberra police chase after routine traffic stop

A man was arrested after a three -hour police chase from Inner Sydney to Canberra after he found a allegedly stolen vehicle.
The civil servants of the Sydney City Police Region Command were patrolling at 22.00 when they tried to stop a white hatchback, which was believed to have been stolen at the intense intersection of Cleveland and Bourke streets in Surry Hills.
A check was allegedly stolen from Melbourne last Saturday.
NSW police said that Hatchback fell into the marked police vehicle and tried to escape from the scene after allegedly started a quest, he said.
The driver of the police vehicle was not injured.

Shortly after, the quest was terminated due to security concerns.
However, about an hour later, he detected the vehicle in the M7 highway at 23:00 connected to the traffic and motorway patrol command and suggested his search.
