Tipra Motha leaders, Dr. He said Saha confirmed that the State government is ready to introduce Latin script in all examination levels under Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE), CBSE and ICSE. Dr. advised them to contact the officials of all three boards.
“When we consider the statements of the BJP leaders on the scenario debate, Prime Minister, they are just political rhetoric, but the government is advocating the Rome scenario,” Mr. Debbarma said. Dr. Saha is said to have told them to write to the central and state education boards on the issue.
Another Tipra Motha leader and former MLA Rajeswar Debbarma stated that they will visit Delhi soon to meet senior officials of CBSE and ICSE.
