Approximately 20 Boston Regions Starbucks Closing including iconic location

A few Starbucks stores in the Boston region are planned to be closed, including one of the most iconic places in the city.

Closes are part of Starbucks’ wider, billion dollar return plan, which aims to reshape operations and improve long -term performance.

Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol, “Every year, we open and close the coffeehouses for various reasons from financial performance to the end of rental periods,” he said. “This is a more important action that we understand that it will affect partners and customers.”

In addition to the closing of the store, the company announced that this would happen. Eliminate 900 institutional role as part of the restructuring effort.

The Company said that “our customers and partners will close the physical environment or financial performance that we have not seen”.
