‘Bondi’ royal commission won’t look at Bondi. What will it look at?

“A royal commission set up to investigate an attack can be expected to provide evidence of the attack and the heroism of those who sought to confront the attackers,” royal commissioner Virginia Bell said in her opening speech yesterday.
But no: the anti-Semitic royal commission must do its job “without risk of undermining the criminal prosecution” of the anti-Semitic Bondi terror attack. And since the leading evidence will be from “people who may be witnesses in the criminal trial”, these people will not be allowed to be heard.
