New Footage Sheds Light on Renee Good Shooting and Reveals Passenger Leaving Vehicle
CNN has obtained newly released footage that shows a different camera angle and the four minutes before the 37-year-old mother was shot Renee Nicole Good by an ICE agent in Minneapolis.
CNNs Anderson Cooper He shared the new footage on Thursday evening, revealing new details but admitting it was “grainy and distant.” Previously, footage of the scene was of someone in the back of the vehicle, closer to the officers and Good. Good’s vehicle appeared to be blocking the road and ICE agents attempted to remove him from the vehicle.
When he turned to drive away, one of the agents shot him three times, killing him.

The new images show the other end of Good’s vehicle, but from a greater distance. The angle shows a passenger abandoning Good’s vehicle before it turns perpendicular to the road, leaving enough room for cars to pass on either side.
CNN has obtained a new video. It’s still grainy and distant, but it shows the full four minutes before the shooting. It shows Renee Good’s burgundy Honda Pilot entering from the right side. 20 seconds later, someone gets out from the passenger side. We don’t know who or why this person abandoned the car. We then see him turn and move perpendicular to the street as if he were blocking the road. But as you can see here, there is room for vehicles to pass from both sides. Finally, the federal officer who shot him has a new perspective. When he arrived, another federal SUV pulled up. When the ICE officer briefly returns to his car, he turns back and the woman begins to move forward as another agent holds the door – again, hard to see from this angle, followed by three gunshots in rapid succession. Four minutes total from start to finish. But as far as the video can reveal, it doesn’t say anything about why Renee Good was there or what she was doing there. And that’s not the only thing we don’t know. Somehow, without providing any evidence, management seems extremely sure of who this woman is and what motivates her.
