London and cities around the world are preparing to welcome 2026 with spectacular fireworks displays and celebrations.

A large number of people are expected to come to the show in the British capital.

As a result, visitors have been told to avoid large parts of central London, including Big Ben, the London Eye, Trafalgar Square, Victoria Embankment, Tower Bridge, London Bridge, Waterloo Bridge and Southwark Bridge, due to congestion.

Paul Martinelli, president of the City Bridge Foundation, warned that “serious crowding on bridges could pose a danger to all bridge users.”

Meanwhile, some events were canceled in many cities around the world.

Sydney canceled a smaller fireworks display at Bondi Beach, Paris canceled its musical event on the Champs-Elysées and Tokyo canceled the countdown outside the city’s Shibuya Station due to stampede fears.
