Woman hospitalised after being stabbed in head on Adelaide street

A woman has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in the head south of Adelaide.

Emergency services were called to Colbert Road in Christies Beach shortly after 6.30pm on Sunday following reports of the attack.

The woman, in her 30s, was found stabbed in the head.

He was transported to Flinders Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

One person was detained at the scene, but no charges were filed.

Police are investigating the incident.
