Big “Expectations”: News Corp’s love affair with Sydney Merivale restaurant baron Justin Hemmes has continued with the company’s annual Christmas party being upgraded from its usual spot in Beresford to Hemmesphere’s crown jewel, the Ivy.

Nine newspapers distance themselves from Hemmes by blacklisting her venues from their annual publications Good Food Guide Following Nine’s own reports into allegations of staff abuse and mishandling of allegations of sexual harassment at Merivale venues, News Corp appears to be happy with the association.
