News denies its climate change denial

News Corp Australia chairman Michael Miller and lieutenant Campbell Reid faced the soundtrack of a Senate inquiry into climate misinformation at an at times contentious hearing in Sydney.

The hearing, held at the city’s Grace Hotel, started a little late due to Nationals Senator Matt Canavan’s traffic problems, but quickly turned into a questioning of News Corp’s coverage of natural disasters over the last decade, the Murdoch family’s views on climate change and whether News Corp employs climate deniers.
