Applications for the Dennison – Lucille Nussdorfer award are available. Individuals can nominate a distinguished woman who has a significant and lasting effect through volunteering in Tuscarawas district. The award committee, which consists of local leaders from several regional businesses, will narrow applications and vote for five finalists. The finalists will participate in the 15 October award feast, which will be announced at the end of the winner.

Learn about brain and body health
Dover – Alzheimer’s Association will host a training program at Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital between 10-11 August to investigate how lifestyle choices can contribute to protecting brain and body health as they get older. Alumni make feast reservations

Mrs. Clayland Competition Applications
Uhrichsville – 4205 Indian Hill RD for the 20 September Miss Clayland Scholarship Competition. Se. The contestants will compete in five competition phase; Special interview, evening outfit, question on stage, talent and vitality. A total of more than $ 4,000 will be given scholarships and the winner will have the opportunity to compete in Miss Ohio in June 2026. The contestants should be between 18 and 28 years.
Mrs. Ohio 2025 Olivia Fosson will perform at the 20 September contest. Fosson Miss Clayland was 2025 and will compete for the title of Miss America in early September.

Operation Christmas Children’s Dinner Set
Walnut Creek – 11th Annual Ohio East operation Christmas Children’s dinner will be at noon and will be at Carlisle Inn on August 23rd.
