While Mahuchikh shared the bronze with Serbia’s Angelina, Maria Zodik Silver from Poland won.
The issue was gathered under a small umbrella sitting on the track when Eleanor Patterson relieved him while waiting for Mahuchikh’s last jumps. If Mahuchikh had cleaned another height, another height would be removed from the medals. He didn’t, and the couple got tanned.
Meanwhile, Australia’s men’s flag team had a disaster bungle in the 4x100m flag final.
