NIMS Hosts Workshop on Using Insulin

Haydarabad: Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) was regulated by Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS) to effectively train young endocrinologists with insulin pump treatment and type 1 diabetes.
A remarkable emphasis on the event was the attempt to provide cost -free insulin pumps for children with type 1 diabetes of the state government.

The workshop was directed by Dr. Sumana Kunnuru and Dr Beatrice mother of Faculty Organizers from NIMS Endocrinology Department. Sessions covered pump starting, troubleshooting, patient selection and long -term tracking strategies.
Dr Narendra receives awards for surgeries
Haydarabad: Medical Education Director Dr Narendra was appreciated for his contribution to the field of pediatric thoracic surgery. The award was presented by the Pediatric Thoracic Surgery Association (SPTS), a part of the Indian Pediatric Surgeons Association (IAPS).
In 2006, the society recorded the role of the instrumental role in the establishment of the thoracic section of IAPs, which laid the basis of advancement of pediatric thoracic surgery in India. The award was given during SPTSCON at the IRCAD Indian Center, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences.
For more than twenty years, Dr Ar has performed thousands of minimal invasive life -saving surgery for children affecting the orbit of pediatric thoracic surgery in India. Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha praised the state and nation of its extraordinary service.
