Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show: Angel Reese becomes first athlete to walk the ramp – Check her stunning look in pics

Angel Reese traded the basketball court for the podium and made history in the process. The Chicago Sky forward became the first professional athlete to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show when she took part in the brand’s star-studded ‘Wings Reveal’ program in New York on Wednesday.

At the age of 23, Reese made her catwalk debut in a pink floral lingerie set paired with a stunning feathered scarf that draped over her arms in soft pink and rose tones, adorned with delicate flowers and lace.

A former LSU national champion and 2023 NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player, Reese once again displayed his trademark confidence and charisma; this time under track lights instead of arena lights.

“This was written in my destiny,” AP quoted Reese as saying before the show began. “That’s already true for me. I’m so happy to be sitting in this room with so many amazing models and women. The team that put it all together was amazing. I’m so excited.”

Reese said she hired a modeling coach to “perfect my walk.”
“I walk, I sleep, I walk in circles,” he said. “And I circle, I sleep, I walk.”

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was streamed live on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Prime Video in the US, blending luxury fashion with star-studded musical performances.

Pop sensation Madison Beer opened the show with a sultry rendition of ‘Make You Mine’, performing amid models in sparkling lingerie and her own pink wings. K-pop’s powerful star TWICE also took to the stage and lit up the podium with their dynamic performances of ‘This is For’ and ‘Strategy’.

Adding to the show, Karol G delivered an energetic performance of ‘Ivonny Bonita’ before taking her own turn on the catwalk in a bold red wings and lingerie set, stealing the show with confidence and flair.
