During the meeting, BJP Working President Nitin Nabin will be formally introduced to the party’s MPs. At 45 years old, Nabin is the youngest working president ever elected in the party. He also serves as Road Construction Minister in the Bihar Cabinet. The BJP appointed Nitin Nabin as its National Working President on December 14, marking a significant generational change in the party’s leadership. According to BJP sources, his election is closely linked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Viksit Bharat 2047 vision. The BJP leadership aims to ensure that the party has a mature, experienced leadership by 2047, when India becomes a developed country.
In line with this goal, the party started to train young leaders long ago. This move is seen as a strategic decision to strengthen the party’s organizational structure and reward talent from various states. Nabin, the 45-year-old Bihar minister and five-term MLA, brings a wealth of experience in administration and party organization to the post.
