Katie Boulter turns to Michael Joyce, former coach of Maria Sharapova

Boulter split from Biljana Veselinovic late last year after a three-year partnership that saw them win three WTA titles.
The 29-year-old is currently Britain’s number four not ranked in the world’s top 100.
Boulter has won just three tour-level matches since Wimbledon and smashed the miss at her final event in Hong Kong last year.
As a result, he missed out on his place in the main draw at the Australian Open. He is now the third substitute and will need to win qualifying at Melbourne Park unless enough withdrawals occur.
But Boulter still has a lot he wants to achieve, he told BBC Sport in November.
“As we move forward with a new manager, one thing I am very clear about is that it will be someone who has a lot of experience in how to get to the highest level in this game,” he said.
“I got up to 23 in the rankings and I know I can get back there. I don’t think my level is going anywhere, I think the consistency needs to increase.”
“My goal is not to be in 50th, 40th, 30th, 20th place; we were there too. My goal is to be in 20th place.”
Boulter welcomed 2026 as “the best year of her life” on Instagram; She will marry Australia’s world number seven Alex de Minaur.
And he made it clear that he would not mourn the past year.
“Adios 2025. Don’t let the door hit you on your way out,” he shared.
