No Life Insurance For Mojtaba Khamenei: Netanyahu

Jerusalem: Claiming that the joint US-Israeli campaign against Iran is “going better than expected” and that Israel is “stronger than ever”, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday that there is “no life insurance” for Iran’s newly elected Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.
Asked whether Israel would target Khamenei and Hezbollah leader Naem Qasim, Netanyahu said, “I will not take out a life insurance policy on any of the leaders of the terrorist organization.”
Mujtaba’s father, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed in joint US-Israeli attacks on February 28.
On February 28, Israel launched the “Roaring Lion” campaign against Iran, joined by the United States, which calls itself “Epic Rage”, with the claim of “blocking Iran’s nuclear ambitions, eliminating its missile program and dealing a crushing blow to its regional proxies.”
Regarding the overthrow of the regime in Iran, the Israeli prime minister said that the United States and Israel were acting “to create the conditions for the Iranian people to be able to eliminate the cruel tyrannical regime.”
“We are dealing crushing blows to the Revolutionary Guard and the Basij both in the streets and at the checkpoints, and we are still active,” he said.
Addressing the Iranian people, the Israeli leader said, “The moment when you can step onto a new path of freedom is approaching. We are with you, we help you. But in the end, it depends on you! It is in your hands.”
When asked by journalists whether Israel would put pressure on regime change, Netanyahu said, “You can take someone to water, but you cannot make him drink.”
“To do this, we will create the optimal conditions, including air strikes, as we did yesterday and these days, to give them the space they need to take to the streets,” signaling that the campaign will not involve putting boots on the ground to force the overthrow of the current regime.
In any case, the Israeli prime minister said the war ensured that “it is no longer the same Iran, it is no longer the same Middle East, and it is also no longer the same Israel.”
“We are not waiting. We are launching, we are attacking, and we are doing it with unprecedented force,” he said, adding that Israel had “many surprises” for the current campaign.
Netanyahu also praised his relationship with US President Donald Trump.
“We have formed an unprecedented alliance with the United States, an alliance with our great friend, my personal friend, President Trump. We talk almost every day. We speak freely, exchange ideas and advice, and make decisions together,” Netanyahu said. he said.
He stressed that he and Trump spoke a short time ago, and the US president told him, “Our relationship is one hundred times stronger than any relationship that has existed between an American president and an Israeli prime minister. We are not thinking only about our countries, or only about this generation. We are thinking about future generations – about the future of humanity.”
Netanyahu signaled that Israel could make new breakthroughs on the diplomatic front in the region.
“These days, my team and I are forming additional alliances with countries in the region—alliances that would have been unthinkable just a few weeks ago.” he added, without elaborating.
