Megan Thee Stallion rejected ‘Call of Duty’ collaboration once she found out she would be target practice

Court testimony says his plan for the video game character went overboard on the rapper’s part.
Megan Thee Stallion Knows its value and limits. Houston Hottie turned down a big offer, according to testimony earlier this week.Call of DutyWhen he learned that the role would make him a “relatable character” in the play, he cooperated.
This revelation was revealed on Wednesday, November 19, during Meg’s ongoing defamation lawsuit against blogger Milagro Gramz. Daniel Kinney, Roc Nation’s Senior Vice President of Branding and Strategic Partnerships, took to the podium and revealed several partnerships that never made it past the pitch stage, including the popular video game series.
According to courtroom reports from journalist Meghann Cuniff, Kinney testified that Megan immediately backed out of the deal when she learned players could target her digital likeness.
“He gave up on Call of Duty when he found out he was going to be a hitable character,” Cuniff said. He added in a follow-up post that Kinney told the court that the offer “triggered him and he said, ‘I’m not doing this.'”
For anyone who has followed Meg’s journey, the reaction is understandable.
The rapper has been open about the fallout in 2020. Tory Lanez shot him. It led to a difficult recovery that included an intensive treatment program. TMZ reported that Megan underwent Dialectical Behavior Therapy, a process she says helped her recover from the trauma, at a cost of approximately $240,000. His lawyers also include Dr. He confirmed that he had received an official diagnosis of PTSD from Lenore Walker.
That diagnosis is now at the center of Megan’s defamation lawsuit against Gramz, which she filed last October. Megan accuses the blogger of waging a sustained campaign of “harassment and cyberbullying” tied to Lanez’s conviction.
This case has already taken a few crazy turns. Just last week, Lanez and his attorney, Crystal Morgan, were fined $20,000 for contempt of court after Lanez repeatedly refused to answer questions at a deposition in Megan’s case.
When told he could face sanctions or even additional prison time, Lanez reportedly shrugged and said, “I’ll pay whatever the fines are. I’m a millionaire. I don’t care.”
According to reports, he then told Megan’s lawyers to “calm down” and “relax,” accused them of lying, walked out angrily, came back, got angry again, made more comments, and eventually left altogether.
Meanwhile, Megan continues to act with intent, keeping her peace and calling out harm wherever it occurs. So what if that means turning down blockbuster deals that cross the line he’s still recovering from?
This is called boundaries and in this culture we respect them.
