Non-classified hotels seek 3-star licence fee relief in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh Hotels and Restaurants Association called on the state government to expand the advantages of GO.ms.NO.131, published on 26 April 2025.
The President of the Association Parvathaneni Ravi Kumar, Regional President Krishna Mohan and Executive Committee members Veeramachaneni Hemanth Kumar and a delegation directed by Hemanth Kumar and Ilapuram Raja in the Secretarial General on Wednesday.
Although the order is currently only valid for hotels with 3 -star and above, he pointed out that many un -classified organizations match them with size, possibilities and service quality. Such hotels said that they employ thousands of people, serve customers’ lakhs per year and contribute significantly to government tax revenues. Many of them have invested in clean, safe infrastructure and raised facilities in accordance with the government’s first -class hospitality vision.
However, these organizations continue to be classified as independent 2D rods subject to master’s fees and restrictive conditions. Delegation suggested that the same La 25 Lakh annual license fee structure, which can be applied to 3 -star hotels, has suggested to expand the lottery renewal or exemption from the lottery system to non -classified hotels.
Mr. Meena was sure that the proposal would be examined for possible evaluation.
