Norway’s crown princess appears with oxygen tube

Norwegian Crown Princess Mette-Marit wore an oxygen tank for the first time at an official engagement.

His appearance was at a reception for Norwegian participants in the Paralympic Games.
Crown Prince Haakon and the couple’s children Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus also attended the event held at the Oslo Royal Palace.
Mette-Marit suffers from pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable condition.
This causes scarring of the lung tissue, which can lead to shortness of breath, among other symptoms.
The crown princess’s health has deteriorated recently, which has limited her public appearances.
In December, the Royal Court announced that Mette-Marit would eventually need a lung transplant.
He recently faced harsh criticism in his home country for his friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who died in 2019.
Additionally, her son from a previous relationship, Marius Borg Høiby, had to stand trial on rape charges earlier this year.
