Not Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, THIS family member holds most of Raj Kapoor’s heirloom, he is…

Armaan Jain and his wife Anissa’s home in Mumbai has a special display case displaying family artefacts from both sides of their family. The closet, itself an heirloom, houses many sentimental items belonging to Raj Kapoor.
In the recently released Netflix show Dining With The Kapoors, members of India’s oldest film family, including Ranbir Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Karisma Kapoor, came together to strengthen their bond over food. The Kapoor clan also revisited legendary film producer and actor Raj Kapoor and his wife Krishna Raj Kapoor and their life at Deonar Cottage. While Deonar Cottage and RK Studios were sold to Godrej Properties, their belongings were also passed on to future generations.
Who has most of Raj Kapoor’s heirlooms?
In the serial, Ranbir Kapoor’s cousin Armaan Jain was seen displaying Raj Kapoor’s favorite glasses, old business cards, racing binoculars, autographed photographs and other belongings. She is also seen holding her grandmother Krishna Kapoor’s handwritten recipe book, a treasured family heirloom that forms the basis of the family’s shared memories and tradition of bonding over food. Although Armaan Jain never met his grandfather, he has several of Raj Kapoor’s personal heirlooms, which he displays at his home and offers some as gifts.
Armaan Jain and his wife Anissa’s home in Mumbai has a special display case displaying family artefacts from both sides of their family. The closet, itself an heirloom, houses many sentimental items belonging to Raj Kapoor. To commemorate Raj Kapoor’s 100th birth anniversary in December 2024, he along with his cousin Ranbir Kapoor met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and presented him with a precious piece of family memorabilia. Armaan shared that he kept these memories as a way to stay connected with his grandfather.
Armaan considers his grandmother’s (Krishna Raj Kapoor’s) home recipes a kind of “heirloom”. He has parlayed this legacy into his food business, The Junglee Kitchen, which serves authentic Kapoor family recipes such as Junglee Mutton and Dal Bukhara. The Netflix documentary Dining with the Kapoors also celebrates this culinary heritage. In fact, Armaan seems to be keeping most of his heirlooms as he is the son of Raj Kapoor’s youngest daughter, who is his laadli.
