Southall fire LIVE: Firefighters swarm road as huge blaze seen from miles erupts | UK | News

A London Fire Brigade spokesman said: “Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters are tackling the blaze on Southall Bridge Road.
“The fire is in a two-story structure consisting of a warehouse and retail space. Approximately three-quarters of the structure is currently on fire.
“Due to the heavy smoke caused by the incident, residents are advised to keep their doors and windows closed. Traffic in the region will also be affected due to the intervention of the teams.
“The Brigade’s Control Officers handled more than 50 calls reporting the fire, with the first received at 0855. Crews from Southall, Heston, Ealing and surrounding fire stations were dispatched to the scene.
“The cause of the fire is not yet known.”
