Nottingham Forest: Sean Dyche considered if Ange Postecoglou sacked

Dyche, 54, has been unemployed since leaving Everton in January. He was linked with the vacant managerial job at Rangers last week but sources have told BBC Sport he is unlikely to be interested in the role.

However, Forest are likely to attract interest from Dyche, who lives relatively close to Nottingham and was a youth player for Forest at the start of his career.

Former City Ground favorites Ian Woan and Steve Stone were also long-time members of Dyche’s coaching staff during his time as manager at Burnley and Everton.

Forest will not need to pay any compensation if they move to Dyche.

Having already sacked Nuno this season and the possible financial ramifications of Postecoglou’s possible sacking, this could be a factor in the club choosing the new player.
