Novo Resources flags antimony, gold, silver upside at Wyloo

Mike Spreadborough, co-chairman of Novo Resources Corp’s board of directors, spoke to Proactive about the company’s early-stage exploration success at the Wyloo gold-silver-antimony project in Western Australia’s southern Pilbara and plans to advance the project to the drilling phase. Exploration general manager Kas De Luca described how stream sediment sampling detected two coherent antimony anomalies extending over two kilometres, prompting follow-up fieldwork. He said rock fragment sampling from the Wyloo South-East area returned abnormal antimony, silver and gold, including high values of lead, zinc and gold, as well as antimony results of up to 1.29%. The team initially targeted antimony, but were encouraged by the discovery of multiple products in sulfur-rich vascular systems, De Luca said.
