Akhila Priya Inaugurates 50-Bed Hospital at Allagadda

Kurnool: Allagadda MLA Bhuma Akhila Priya, along with district collector G. Rajakumari, inaugurated a 50-bed government hospital equipped with modern facilities in Allagadda town in Nandyal district on Tuesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Akhila Priya said that soon after the coalition government took office, $8 million was sanctioned for the development of the hospital. He said that the facility was equipped with modern infrastructure in order to provide better health services to the people of the region.

The MLA said the hospital has been provided with an X-ray unit and a team of 11 specialist doctors who will be available round the clock to provide advanced medical care. He also assured that the hospital will be upgraded to a 100-bed facility in the near future to meet the growing healthcare needs of the region.

Addressing the meeting, the collector urged patients to take full advantage of the services at the renovated hospital. He also appreciated the MLA’s efforts to take up the issue with the government and ensure the establishment of the 50-bed facility.

Hospital committee member Srinivasa Reddy, superintendent Dr Sujatha and officials from various departments attended the programme.
