NTR, Prashanth Neel Film Shoot From December 13

Denying all rumors of differences between reigning star Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel, a reliable source has confirmed that the shooting of the much-awaited film will begin this week. “The actor and the director are completely in sync and the shooting will begin on December 13 at a specially constructed set at Ramoji Film City,” the source said.

The team also rejects speculations that Bollywood actress Kajol will play an important role. “Kajol has nothing to do with our film,” explains the source, adding that NTR will be paired with Kantara 2’s Rukumi Vasanth to add a romantic flavor to this action-centric drama.

According to the source, NTR took a short break from Dragon to build muscle for a new rugged look. “He really needs to portray a bigger character. Prashanth Neel has designed an invincible avatar that will elevate NTR’s action image and offer fans a unique, suspenseful saga,” adds the source.

In an interesting development, Prashanth Neel, who is known for largely avoiding songs in films like Salaar, is reportedly all set to break his mould. “He is planning a special number with NTR and the best heroine will be involved in it. The aim is to create a chartbuster on the lines of Pushpa’s Oo Antava. Such songs add glamor and mass appeal to star-driven films. Although Neel rarely uses item numbers, he has included a few in the past.”

The shooting schedule for this issue is expected to last two to three months, and the film promises a blend of scale, style and spectacle.
