Nudifying apps are not ‘a bit of fun’ – they are seriously harmful and their existence is a scandal writes Children’s Commissioner RACHEL DE SOUZA

I am afraid that children grow up in a world where everyone can take photos and take their clothes digitally.

They are growing up in a world where everyone can download building blocks to develop a AI tool that can create naked photographs of real people.

Soon to use these building blocks in this way will be illegal, but they will continue to sell by the largest technology companies, which means they are still open to abuse.

Earlier this year, I published researches by looking at the presence of these applications using productive artificial intelligence (Genei) to create false sexual open images with users.

In the report, he revealed the shocking underground world of Deepfakes: he stressed that almost all deep teeth in circulating were pornographic in nature and 99% were girls or women – generally practices are specially trained to work on female bodies.

In the last four years, as a children’s commissioner, I have heard about their lives, wishes and concerns from a million children.

Children spoke to me from all worrying tendencies in online activity-x Hardcore porn from cosmetics and vapors to Tiktok through Tiktok, the evolution of ‘nuding’ practices, perhaps the most unimaginable, is the most unimaginable.

As a 16 -year -old girl asked me: ‘Do you know what the purpose of the deep cake is? Because I don’t see any positive. ‘

Experts warned men about 'a big explosion' ¿13 up to 13, using free AI programs to create realistic fake naked images of other students

Experts, in men – some of them under the age of 13 ‘about’ a big explosion ‘warned.

Children, especially girls, are afraid that a smartphone can be used as a way to manipulate them at any point.

Girls tell me that they are taking steps to keep themselves safe online as we expected in real life, as they do not walk alone at night.

Risks for men are different but also harmful: Studies have defined the online communities of young men who share dangerous materials, a threat to radicalization and extremism.

The government rightly takes a pleasant step to limit the dangers of artificial intelligence. Thanks to the crime and police invoice, having, creating or distributing AI tools designed to create a child sexual abuse material will become illegal.

The introduction of the online security law – and new arrangements to protect children – indicate a moment for optimism where a real change is possible.

But what children say to me is that we need to go from their own experiences, faster and faster.

The way the AI applications is developed is covered in confidentiality. There is no surveillance, there is no test as to whether it can be used for illegal purposes, it does not accidentally take into account the risks for young users. This should change.

It should not be allowed to exist in disruptive applications. It should not be possible for an application to create a sexual appearance of a child, whether or not it is designed.

Even the publications in LinkedIn introduced the 'best' donor AI tools available.

The technology used by these tools to create sexual open images is complex. It is designed to distort reality, secure and enlarge the user, and confronts children with concepts they have not yet understood.

I don’t have to tell the government to bring protection to stop the arrangement of these building blocks in this way.

I welcome the movement to punish individuals for creating children’s sexual abuse image generators, but I encourage the government to activate the tools that will allow predators to create sexual clear light lantern images.

In order to do this, I asked the government to test their products for illegal and harmful activities to technology companies that provide open source models of AI vehicles in terms of their capacity to use for illegal and harmful activities.

All of this is what the kids tell me what they want. They will help to stop sexual images involving children’s normalization.

And they will almost make a significant effort to meet the government’s admirable mission in order to reduce violence against women and girls, which are the subjects of these sexual deep leaves.

Damage to online children is not inevitable. We cannot defeat our shoulders and we cannot claim that it is impossible to remove the technology whose risks are developed.

We cannot reject this growing online threat as a ‘class problem’ – because the evidence obtained from the survey of school and college leaders show that the majority already restricts the use of telephone use: 90% of secondary schools and 99.8% of primary schools.

Nevertheless, despite these restrictions, they told me that in the same survey as about 19,000 school leaders, they were among the most urgent issues that children in the communities of online security face.

For them, children’s access to screens that most worries them during the hours outside of school. Education is only part of the solution. The difficulty starts at home.

We should not provide parenting to our schools and teachers from the outsourcing.

As parents, trying and traveling the same technology with our children may feel overwhelming. How do we apply the limits for things that move very quickly to follow?

But this is what the children tell me what they want from their parents: protection against falling from a rabbit shift hole.

Two years ago, I put together young people and young adults to ask for a turn of the clock and ask for.

He always acknowledged that a very young phone was given to all of the 16-21 years of age.

They also said that their parents wished to talk to them about what they see online – not just as one, but without regular, open and stigmatization.

Later in this year, I will repeat this job to produce new guidance for parents – because they deserve to be confident in the use of telephone, even if they are far from comfort areas.

Whether your children are very young on an internet phone, forcing the screen-time limits while at home, or insisting on keeping the phones away from the bottom and bedrooms overnight, I want them to make decisions for their own families.

Parents also deserve to make sure that the companies behind the technology on our children’s screens play a role.

Last month, Ofcom’s new arrangements entered into force through the online safety act, which will now have to define risks for children on their platforms and to deal with them or combat consequences.

This is too late, because very long technology developers were allowed to turn a blind eye on risks for young users on their platforms – even if the children tell them what they see.

If these regulations will remain effective and remain in accordance with the future, they have to keep up with the developing technology – nothing can be very difficult to deal with.

The government has the opportunity to bring AI product test against illegal and harmful activities in the AI bill, which I encourage the government to promote the government in the next parliamentary session.

This will make technology companies responsible for their means of illegal purposes.

We owe these damages to our children and generations to stop these damages.

Iceing practices should never be accepted as another restriction on the freedom of our children or a risk for mental welfare.

It has no value in a society where we value the safety and sacredness of childhood or family life.
