Michelin-starred chef Vikas Khanna has revealed his favorite restaurant in India, and it marks a proud moment for Mumbai’s food scene. During a conversation with Ishan Sharma on the Limitless podcast, the celebrity chef shared that his first choice was a modest yet iconic restaurant located in South Mumbai.

When asked about his favorite dining place in the country, Vikas Khanna said, “My favorite restaurant has to be Soam in South Mumbai. I love that restaurant.” His simple yet heartfelt answer immediately grabbed attention and left food lovers wondering what makes this place so special.

He added that eating there reminded him of the strength and authenticity of Indian food culture. “Our traditional techniques are the best and we don’t need to borrow other techniques to impress Western people. I think I had the best dining experience there,” he said.
