O2 making major change to popular service from August | UK | News

In August, O2 makes a major change in the priority service that will affect how it can access customers’ advantages and offers.
The Mobile Network announced that it will remove the Priority section from the website to make O2 priority application into special advantages and opportunities. The change aims to help improve the user experience by reinforcing access to priority in a field, which means that customers should download and use the application.
The change will take place as of Monday, August 11, so O2 customers will no longer be able to reach priority through the O2 website.
In a message to customers, O2, “You will not be able to reach priority through our website from 11 August 2025. Do not miss special awards and experiences – download the priority application today.”
O2 Priority is only a loyalty program that provides special awards, offers and experiences for O2 and Virgin Media Broadband customers.
The awards are updated every month and include money plus subscriptions, travel discounts, food and beverage opportunities and prize lottery from Disney.
O2 Priority also provides customers early access to thousands of concerts and events throughout England 48 hours before general sales.
O2 confirmed that after the amendment on August 11, customers will continue to access the pre -sales tickets of O2 in Ticketmaster. Customers need to log in to O2 priority accounts and will be directed to the Ticketmaster website to complete ticket purchases.
O2 explained: “To access the O2 Priority in Ticketmaster before the pre -sales tickets, make sure you have signed your O2 priority account first, then click the link you want in O2 priority and take you to Ticketmaster where you can reserve and pay your tickets.”
The O2 Priority app is free by sending a message to 2020 from the App Store or ‘Priority’.
