Power Tariff To Come Down By 13 Paise Per Unit In State

Vijayawada: Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar stated that the state government has decided to cover electricity dues worth Rs 4,498 million on behalf of consumers, resulting in the electricity tariff falling by 13 paise per unit in the state.

The electricity tariff has been reduced to ease the financial burden on consumers across the state through the True Down mechanism, the minister said here on Monday.
