Blogger missing for a week, family appeals CM for help

Parents of a missing blogger have sought intervention of Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha to trace their son, who has not been heard from for the last seven days.

Pranab Das, 23, a resident of Malaya Nagar Nepali Para under the limits of Srinagar police station in West Tripura district, could not be traced since January 3. The family said that they appealed to the Prime Minister on Saturday, January 10, 2026, after the police failed to make any progress.

After Mr. Das was not in contact with anyone, a missing complaint was lodged at Srinagar police station. The man, a B.Com student and travel blogger, had reportedly informed his parents about a possible trip to Nagaland but they were not sure whether he had actually traveled or not. His cell phone has remained switched off since then.
