Old Wheels Grind
Hot cinnamon buns are famously sold from a van in Berry. They come from behind a 1960s Land Rover in Mudgee. Vintage tray retooled for food service; It’s complete with a La Marzocco espresso machine and a deep fryer that churns out soft, sugar-crusted donuts made to order.
Most of the time, the forest green ute sits in a paddock at Budgee Budgee, about 10 minutes from the city, next to a restored train carriage where you can sit and eat straight from the fryer. Some days you can spot the Land Rover on the move, heading to pop-up events, markets and festivals around town.
