Oliver Price: Police name 10-year-old boy killed in Somerset school coach crash

Police chose the 10 -year -old boy who died after he fell as Oliver Price last week.
Emergency services were called to a single -vehicle collision in the A396 in Cutcombe Hill between Wheheddon Cross and Timberscombe at 15:00 last Thursday.
A large event was declared with the teams supported by Avon and Somrseet Police, Devon and Somperset Fire Department and Rescue Service and South West Ambulance Service, National Police Air Service helicopter and Dorset and Somperset Air ambulance.
Police said that despite the efforts Oliver died at the scene.
Two children and one adult stayed in the hospital in Bristol, while two adults were taken to hospital at Somperset, while several children were discharged during the weekend. Up to 70 people – Children and Adults traveling to Minehead Secondary School – it was understood to be in the coach.
The Avon and Somperset police shared their thoughts with Oliver’s parents and their family, and their family supported by a specially trained officer.

The coach was rescued on Saturday and will be subjected to a detailed examination by experts in the coming days. Officers make explanations from adults traveling in the coach or region to determine the full conditions of the collision.
After completing the examination of the scene, the police remain closed while the Someperset Council has a detailed security supervision.
Neighborhood officers will be outside Minehead Secondary School in the coming days.
