Olympic Ski Medalist Dead At 49 After Lightning Strike

July 17 (Reuters) – Olympic Ski Cross Bronze Medal Owner Audun Gronvold, died at the age of 49 after being shot lightening The Norway Ski Federation during a cabin trip on Wednesday in a statement.
Gronvold was hospitalized and treated for their injuries, but he died late on Tuesday.
Born in Hamar, Gronvold won a bronze medal at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics and 2005 World Ski Championships.
From 1993-94 to the 2003-04 season, it was the national team athlete on the Alp ski.
“Norwegian ski lost a remarkable figure that means a lot for both Alpine and free style communities, Tara said Tove Moe Dyrhaug, President of the Federation.
“Audun had a great career in both Alpe Ski and Ski Cross before becoming the national team coach in the ski cross. The Norwegian Ski Association remembers his efforts in the ski board. There will be a big gap after Audun.”
