Oman says no party has claimed responsibility for attacks on its territory; probe underway

Oman’s foreign ministry said in a statement on Sunday that it condemned the attacks on its territory, adding that neither party claimed responsibility.

He said authorities were investigating the “sources and purposes” of the attacks, without providing further details.

Oman said a worker was injured in a drone attack on the Gulf nation’s Salalah port on Saturday, and Danish container shipping group Maersk later said it had temporarily halted operations at the port following Saturday’s attack.
