Omar Abdullah Vows to Fight for J&K Statehood Without BJP Alliance

Srinagar: On Tuesday, Prime Minister Omar Abdullah declared that he would resign before establishing an alliance with the Bharatia Janata Party (BJP) to accelerate the restoration of the state of state for Jammu and Kashmir.
“If it can restore the state to bring the BJP to the government, I am ready to resign today. Let someone else take over – but I will never compromise.”
In addition, he is not ready to make political concessions for the state and addressed the audience directly, “If you are ready to accept such a trade, tell me, because I’m not,” he said.
“There was a possibility that stateism could take earlier by including BJP in the government.”
However, in 2015 and 2016, unlike the former head Minister Muhammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti, who formed coalitions with BJP, he recalled his election after the parliamentary elections held in October last year and reminded the election after the former Chief Parliamentary elections that formed a coalition with BJP in 2015 and 2016.
“I could have chosen to establish a government with BJP, but I followed a different way to keep them out of power in Jammu and Kashmir. We may have to wait longer, but I will never allow them to enter the government,” he said.
The Prime Minister reiterated that the demand for the restoration of the state is unharified and that the struggle of the government would be based on democratic values and violence. He stated that he was ready to be agit, but he warned the risks of unrest by making a comparison with Ladakh.
“When people protest, when people start to shoot within an hour, the bullets will rain in Kashmir in ten minutes. I will not allow Kashmir families to collapse under grief again. Our fight will continue, but it will be democratic and peaceful.” “I will fight politically and peacefully, but I will not allow Kashmir to be pushed back to the flames. Our people have already suffered enough.”
On August 5, 2019, while referring to the elimination of Article 370, he said that Ladakh, who initially supported the decision since then, recognized the value of constitutional guards lost since then. “Then we said and we said now – what happened on August 5, 2019 was wrong,” he said. In a recent interview, Chering Dorje Lakruk, the leading Buddhist leader and the co -chairman of the Leh Apex Body (LAB), accepted that they saw 370 Articles of Long people as an obstacle.
Abdullah, the state of the state is not only the administration, “we are not against development or governance, but the dignity comes with the state. We will continue to fight without surrendering our principles,” he said. He promised to continue the struggle for the state of state in democratic and peaceful ways and made J & K back to turmoil.
