Huge update after bodies of two women found in Victorian alpine region

Two women who had bodies in an isolated part of Victoria’s Alp region may have died for a few days.
Their bodies were discovered in an isolated area near Lendenfeld Point to the north -east of Falls Creek in the Alp region of Victoria on Friday.
Women were brought together by four hikers walking near Cleve Cole Hut on Friday at 12:50 and then warned the authorities.
According to Herald Sun, the police, who have not yet officially defined women, believe that they are aging in their 20s and 30s and they are from abroad.
The police are now working with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to communicate with their families. Uniform officers, search and rescue staff and air wing responded to the incident, but they could not reach the bodies until Saturday.

Victoria police said deaths did not look suspicious and could be to walk and camping in the area.
Inspector Paul Hargreaves said that the bodies of two women were safely rescued from an area between the summit and Cleve Cole Hut on Saturday morning and that they could be there for “two or three days ..
Hargreaves said, “It is not known how long they have been there, but they clearly died.”
“In the last two to three days air minus low as 2.8c, winds remained around 83km/s and snowed.”

It is believed that women may not have been prepared enough for freezing conditions.
“Extraordinary difficult conditions, snow storm conditions and the death of two people to the death of severe hypothermia is likely to succumb to the weather conditions,” he said.
While the police had to camp overnight to reach away, the air wing had to wait for more suitable weather conditions on Saturday.
“This gives you an idea of how far this place is,” Hargreaves said.
Police stressed that the deaths are not related to the ongoing human hunting for the alleged police killer Disaz Freeman.

The inspector said that the region is often given frequently given by Outback adventurers who often like to experience excessive conditions, but sometimes conditions can become quite dangerous and unfavorable.
“If you do not have the right conditions and the right equipment, it becomes very dangerous,” he said.
“The members attending last night were well equipped to stay overnight under these conditions.
“There have been several incidents during the snow season where the police had to help people who were stuck in profitable conditions this year.

“A few people I talked about that they do not notice or ignore the signs of air and conditions.
“You can have a beautiful, clear sky in such a mountain region – you can have a beautiful, clear sky, and before you know it, you are in a snow storm that occurred during this period, there are also white output conditions.
“It is very difficult to direct yourself while on the mountain, and when we pass these places, we urge people to use very carefully and use security.”
Since we are not aware of the existing missing person reports, the police resort to receive information from the public to help identify those involved.
