Witness reportedly heard flurry of gunshots
No suspect descriptions were immediately available. Police had yet to offer details about what preceded the shootings as well.
An email seeing additional information from York police, including the age and gender of the victims, was not immediately returned. Cops, however, said on social media that they would provide an update later in the night.
A witness told CP24 that they heard a gunshot and then, after a pause, “four, five, six in a row kinda just out of nowhere.”
Police asked anyone with information to contact the homicide unit at 1-866-876-5423, Ext. 7865, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
The shooting was reported about an hour after cops in Peel Region responded to a gunfire incident in Brampton that left a male victim with serious injuries.
