One of the world’s tallest trees is on fire and crews can’t put it out
When the flames were detected in one of the tallest trees in the world, the firefighters left the area under water.
Drones, aircraft and hand teams worked for days to domesticate the fire and successfully stopped the spread of the intense forest surrounding celebrities Doerner fir Oregon’s Coast Range Mountains.
However, the rising beach Douglas-Fir stubbornly burned.
And the firefighters – at least right now – look stump.
Megan Harper, spokesman for the Land Management Office in Oregon, said, “There is still this point where water has not yet reached,” he said. “There is a space that partially a space with the tree. … Here is still the hot area.”
The smoke rises from a burned part of Doerner Fir.

The strange single tree fire, Coos County has become an almost weekly fire extinguishing in Ore, because the hot spot continues to burn about 280 feet up on the edge of the arboreal giant.
“We have different conversations [going on] In the background, with Arborist experts who can help to remove the rest of the fire, Har Harper said.
He said that the crew was placed around the tree and that it would remain like this until the fire came out. Fire initially at 14.00 on Saturday
“We were able to use helicopters with buckets … It was very successful to get the top of this tree,” he said. It was still proven that the smoking side gap is still more difficult.
Harper said that the first accusation of the fire fell from the top of the tree about 50 meters. The longest in the world. Before the fire, it was generally listed as the second highest tree in the USA, followed by Hyperion, a 380 -meter coastal Redwood, a 380 -meter coast in the Redwood national and state parks.
“Incentive [Doerner] 325 feet length and about 11.5 feet diameter, so a big, long tree, Har Harper said. We’re not sure how much height is lost. ”
“More heights can be lost,” he said, depending on what happened in the next few days.
Harper said the cause of the fire was under investigation. Initially, the authorities thought Lightning was a possible criminal, but the air data excluded it, Har Harper said.
“I think everyone is super encouraged to find out that it would be human beings, Har Harper said, Harper confirmed that hikers were a remote trace that provides access to the tree. However, while the investigation continued, he said that his team did not make any assumptions.
“The fire in the Oregon Coast series is actually quite rare.
